Does Body by Vi™ Work?
Since starting the Visalus Body by Vi™ 90 Day Challenge, I receive calls on a daily basis from interested consumers who would like to know more about the program.
The Number one question that I am asked is this -
Does Body by Vi™ Work?
My answer is a resounding YES! Body by Vi™ Does Work!!
My story is not unique to hundreds, maybe thousands of other people out there, who have struggled with issues of weight, and how to lose it, and keep that dreaded weight off.
Does Body by Vi™ Work?
When I started the 90 day challenge, I was extremely heavy. In fact, my doctor had told me that if I didn’t start losing weight, I was in danger of jeopardizing the health of my already fragile kidneys.
Some of my weight issues could be attributed to the fact that when I had my daughter in 1994, I had extreme complications during my pregnancy, and ended up hospitalized with a severe case of preeclampsia. My kidneys had shut down completely, and they were forced to take my daughter by emergency C-section.
My daughter was 2 pounds 1 ounce when she was born, and after her birth, my daughter and I literally fought for our lives. I hadn’t even had an opportunity to hold my beautiful baby girl.
After a very long and hard night, a nurse came in and told me that I needed to be there to raise my daughter, and if I wanted to have the chance to do this and to hold her, I would need to calm down, to relax. She asked if she could lay her hands on me, and I agreed.
I didn’t know it at the time, but this angel was praying for me when she laid her hands on me, and immediately after she opened her eyes, she told me that I was going to be ok, and to trust God.
Within minutes, my kidneys began to function, and all of the water that I had been retaining began to flush out of my body, and my blood pressure began to lower to normal levels.
As a result of the kidney failure during that time, I spill protein, which means that my body does not adequately store enough protein to support lean muscle mass.
I tried diet after diet, only to become discouraged and disillusioned as the pounds would come off, and then return with a vengeance.
Does Body By Vi Work?
When I was introduced to the Body By Vi Challenge, I was a skeptic, to say the least. I had been there and done that with every diet under the sun, and I had absolutely NO faith that these tasty shakes would change a thing for me.
Well – I have lost OVER 100 pounds to date, and I’m still losing!

When this picture was taken, I was a size 26, and 276 pounds.
Here is my first Body By Vi challenge outcome – taken New Years Eve – Dec 31, 2010
As of this photo, I was down 87 pounds – and had gone from a size 26 to a size 12.
I started a new 90 challenge in January, and will be posting the results on March 31, 2011. I am living proof that this awesome program works.

I can’t begin to tell you how awesome a feeling it is to have people tell you that you look fantastic, and that they are SO proud of you. What’s even better, is that I am PROUD of what I have been able to accomplish – but I can’t take all the credit for my journey, alone.
Thank you for all the people who have loved me, and supported me in this journey – my journey isn’t over yet, my ultimate goal is a size 6.
